Mrs. Chelsea Moore

 
Mrs. Chelsea Moore is proud to serve as Pacific Sky’s principal, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping every student thrive. She began her career in the Poway Unified School District before joining the Del Mar Union School District in 2014, where she has served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Mrs. Moore is dedicated to creating a welcoming school community where students feel valued, discover their strengths, and find purpose in their learning. She believes strong relationships, meaningful learning experiences, and partnerships with families are essential to helping every child grow with confidence.
 
Mrs. Moore is known for her expertise in curriculum and instruction, which allows her to collaborate on innovative and engaging learning opportunities for our students. Her warm and compassionate approach resonates with children, parents, and staff, nurturing strong relationships within the school community. It is important to her that students form a deep and positive relationship with learning, leading to a lifetime of happy memories.
 
Having grown up in San Diego, Mrs. Moore's roots run deep within our vibrant city. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University and a Master of Arts in Education. Go AZTECS! Her educational journey has spanned eighteen fruitful years in both the Poway Unified School District and the Del Mar Union School District before stepping into administration. Mrs. Moore's commitment to professional growth led her to earn an administrative credential through the esteemed San Diego County Office of Education Leadership program.
 
Outside the school walls, Mrs. Moore finds joy in spending time with her family. Her husband, Stephen, is actively involved with a local non-profit, and together, they share the joys of parenthood with their daughter, Addie, and their lovable puppy named Ollie. The Moore family loves to explore the beauty of our coastal city and passionately supports their local sports teams.
 
Mrs. Moore is grateful to serve the Pacific Sky community and is committed to nurturing the strong partnerships and collaborative spirit that make it a special place to learn and grow. Together with staff and families, she strives to create an extraordinary school experience for every student.
