Kindergarten Back to School Night- Thursday, August 11th
In an effort to provide information to kindergarten families in advance of school starting, kindergarten teachers will hold Back to School Night on Thursday, August 11th from 6:00-7:00 pm. This is an adult-only event that will provide families with pertinent information pertaining to their child’s kindergarten experience.
Pacific Sky School Tours- Friday, August 12th
Students and families are invited to a school tour on Friday, August 12th. Come learn general information about our school and get a tour of our campus. When you arrive, please wait in front of the school and we will meet you there to start your tour.
9:30-10:00 am Grades 1 & 2
10:15-10:45 am Grades 3 & 4
11:00-11:30 am Kindergarten
12:15-12:45 pm Grades 5 & 6
Kindergarten students will have the opportunity to meet their teacher and visit their classroom after the school tour on Friday, August 12th from 11:30-12:00 pm. This is a great way for our kindergartners to get excited about school and begin to build relationships with their classmates and teacher. If you are joining the school tour beforehand, we will walk over to kindergarten classrooms together afterward. If not, please check into the front office upon your arrival.
Pacific Sky School Family Picnic- Saturday, August 13th
As an opportunity for families to meet one another and students to connect with friends, we will have a Back to School Family Picnic the Saturday before school begins from 11:30 am-1:30 pm. Please bring a picnic lunch, something to drink, and picnic chairs. The PTA will have some treats available for students as well as information about how to join or volunteer. So it is easier to identify grade level peers, students are welcome to wear the following colors:
Kindergarten- red
First grade- green
Second grade- yellow
Third grade- purple
Fourth grade- blue
Fifth grade- orange
Sixth grade- white
